Emergency dental care

Regular preventative dental care can help avoid emergencies. Occasionally, however, emergencies happen to all of us. That’s why we always have free appointments set aside every day. In the event of a dental emergency we’ll do all we can to help you. This service is open to non-registered patients where appointments allow.

IMPORTANT: to help us provide the emergency care service effectively, please call the practice as early as possible in the day.

To improve our weekend emergency service, we also have our on-call dentist (a member of the St James’ team) present in the practice every Saturday morning. Please telephone for help, advice or treatment.

We care for you after hours too. We also provide on-call emergency cover for evenings, weekends and holidays 365 days a year. When the practice is closed, please telephone 01452 727667; when you call, our phone system will transfer you automatically to the on-call dentist. Please ensure you leave your telephone number and a short message. This service is only available for existing private and plan patients of St. James’ Dental.
