Lynn was born in Sumter, South Carolina and raised in Bridgend, South Wales. Following her education at St Clare’s Convent School, Lynn completed a one-year pre-nursing course at Bridgend College of Technology. After gaining entry to the University Hospital of Wales in 1975, Lynn qualified as a state registered nurse and continued her training, gaining her Midwifery qualifications in1980. Lynn remained at the University Hospital of Wales, working as a staff nurse in paediatrics and then as midwifery sister on the delivery suite.

Following her marriage in 1984, Lynn moved to Gloucestershire and continued her nursing career at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department until a three-year career break to look after her two children.

Since joining St James’ Dental in 1990 as a part-time receptionist, Lynn has been an integral part of the practice’s development and currently holds the position of practice director. As such, her main responsibilities include our own in-house capitation scheme and personnel management – which means she makes all the important decisions!
